Remember the Mind Map you viewed when you read the first communication for this course? The Map showed, graphically, the structure and sequence of the course. Such a system will come in quite handy for project managers.
A Mind Map is a useful tool to represent ideas graphically. Much like the "web" diagrams or flow charts you may have used in high school, the Mind Map allows you to brainstorm and plan around a central idea, or "hub" of your map.
Learning a new mind-mapping program can be intimidating, but the skill is essential for success in the Project Management Certification program you will be taking soon. Please click the link to open the "Webspiration Quick-Start Guide," which will get you started.

Your assignment is to create your own simple mind map. Your central idea is "Project Management." Be as creative or basic as you wish as you design a mind map to explain, define, list the benefits of, detail, benefits and drawbacks, sequence, or otherwise discuss project management as you see it. Click the link below entitled "Project Managers Article" for a copy of the article you received in your welcome letter. You will find information here that may be useful while completing your mind map!
When you finish your mind map, return to your original discussion forum posting, click "Edit," and add the link to your mind map to the end of your entry. View others' mind maps to get ideas and inspiration!
When you have completed the mind map and posted the link, you have fulfilled all of the requirements for the course. Congratulations!
