Dragonflight is set to release later this year
Blizzard says it will be possible to build Mythic raid quality gear WoTLK Gold (aka the best gear in the game) via crafter's system but it's likely to be a challenge. To make it happen players will have to be specialized in the type of equipment being created in order to obtain the top needed reagents as well as high-end alternative reagents and the best profession gear available. In the process, they may require to be lucky with an Inspiration proc or utilize a rare finishing reagent to further boost the quality of the product and ensure that it is made at the highest quality.
There are a lot of details in the blog post, including the fact that players only have to increase their professions halfway to be able to learn all available crafting recipes for their profession and that a new form of consumable called Phials will replace Flasks.
WoW: Dragonflight is set to release later this year although it does not yet have a set release date. The expansion is expected to bring a revamp of the game's talent system , along with the new Dragon Isles region and a brand new playable dragon race (that is also exclusively the new Invoker class) and the Dracthyr.
