The BlizzCon Pass gives you access to the gate
The options include either an human WoTLK Gold footman or an orc grunt. They are designed to celebrate their 25th anniversary as part of the World of Warcraft franchise. You can see the two statues below. The statues will be made available to everyone in the future as well.
Similar to previous years, BlizzCon 2019 is anticipated to have esports, gaming cosplay, camaraderie and the latest Blizzard entertainment news." There will be developer panels, esports contests, and many more. Additionally, there will be the new "BlizzCon Celebrations Before Game" celebration that takes place in the middle of the convention day before the show begins. This is described as a "casual gathering" and there's an Darkmoon Faire event taking place on Thursday.
Blizzard is changing up how the ticketing system works during BlizzCon 2019 and is charging higher prices. There are three options this year three options: the BlizzCon Pass ($230 USD) in addition to the BlizzCon Portal Pass ($550 USD) and the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner Pass ($750 USD). In 2018. it was $200 to gain entry.
The BlizzCon Pass gives you access to the gate and admission for the Pregame Festivities event, in addition to the statue, and in-game goodies. It also includes a number of other items. BlizzCon Portal Pass however, includes a number of extras to justify the $550 price tag. This pass includes everything that was mentioned previously, in addition to access to the Darkmoon faire during the Night at the Faire event scheduled for the day prior to when BlizzCon starts, as well with a variety of buy WoTLK Classic Gold "convenience-related extras." They include the first entrance into the exhibit hall, priority parking in separate lines, access to the dedicated space where attendees can hang out and chat about their experiences with Blizzard developers.
