Dropping a trap on a boss and being able to actually set it off WoTLK Gold in a completely random manner is incredibly inconsistent. You must know the moment it'll activate for each boss in particular. Contrary to what the average Hunter Jesus is likely to think , it's actually simpler to make traps pop on smaller bosses, not larger ones. I dropped one on top of the kil Jaeden model and a pre-paid sunwell he was in his model and it didn't explode. If you are caught in a trap.
This is a massive amount of DPS gun damage, not just from damage to traps and the parking Lock and load. Keep in mind, traps share a cool down with black air. In the actual point where you can feel Blizzard punching all hunters squarely into the nuts is sniper training, the hunter spec which has to move around more than any other gets the ability to boost the damage you do.
If you're standing still this is absurd. You're being incentivized to use a black arrow even although it's less destructive. That's not even getting into dropping traps of frost to Brock locks and loads. The potential for damage is there to be a threat for survival. It just doesn't feel nearly as good to play as it should. But if you enjoy it, do it. Okay.
Ride the Viper aspect of the Viper has been changed. Now, you can cut the damage in half. Or does it? It certainly does. This is weird. This tool tip seems right, it actually reduces the damage caused by all things you do. It even trap everything. However, it's odd when I tested this out buy WoTLK Classic Gold, I did not get a flat 50% reduction in damage. I'm assuming there's something wrong with the wave ability scale but it's a massive amount. I believe the smallest amount I got was 40%, which was not due to the BM talent.
