The 2017 Madden NFL 24 draft is finally upon us. Thursday night kicks off the first round of the draft, which will extend through Saturday in Philadelphia City Hall. For the past four months or so, prospects have spent countless hours training and meeting with teams.

Finally, their hard work will pay off. Over the next few days, 253 players will hear their names called at the podium and several others will sign as undrafted free agents.

The Cleveland Browns hold the first overall pick in this year’s draft. Texas A&M pass rusher Myles Garrett is the favorite to go off the board first, but there were late rumors that they could be eyeing quarterback Mitchell Trubisky instead.

The Browns hold an additional first-rounder after trading last year’s No. 2 pick to the Eagles. Cleveland has 11 picks in this year’s draft — tied with the Bengals for the most picks of any team. Surprisingly, however, this is the fewest picks the Browns have held in a draft over the past three years.

Along with Garrett, defensive ends Solomon Thomas and Jonathan Allen should go high in the order.
