A Vision of Students Today

This is a short video created by Michael Wesch with 200 students at Kansas State University. The video decribes, in their opinion, some of the characteristics of students today. It explores learning, living and their hopes and dreams. It is interesting and well done.

Let us know what you think? Is this a true reflection of students today? If so, what can we do to change things?

from the governments point of view, we are only numbers. we are also like like parasites we use their money to get wat we need in order to survive. im not in coolege yet but i knoe dat it es alot of money, concetration and time spent in what we do..and if we were all that one person who developes a relationship with their teachers, who else would be there to make a difference.. so i gues we have to go through wat we go through

first of all the song is full of agony, I mean I know these students are trying to get a point across that can inform future students on whats going on but many dont consentrate listening to a sad song. The film was interesting, to rephrase what was being adressed I believe the video was about how information and resorces are very limited, or even learning capabilities are very scarce in college. I believe `this is rue mainly because I know some people who graduated from college and spoke about how most of the learning must be done by yourself you cant depend on your professors lecturing you because you could have a huge class size. In the future I will be sure to apply to a school with a descent size student rate
